The New York Giants and John Harbaugh have officially reached an agreement on a contract to make him the Head Coach.
It did not take long for John Harbaugh to find a new home. Arguably, the biggest name on a long list of coaches looking for work, Harbaugh chose the New York Giants as his newest employer. He previously coached the Baltimore Ravens for 18 seasons, including a Super Bowl title. A press conference will be held on Tuesday for a formal introduction.
Harbaugh looks to bring stability, leadership, and culture to the Giants, who finished 7-27 over the last two seasons. Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers, and Cam Skattebo are the main building blocks on a young Giants team, and with Harbaugh’s ability to connect with his players by preaching resiliency and preparation, this team could start putting wins together quickly. While not a direct comparison, Jaxson Dart possesses a dual-threat ability similar to Lamar Jackson and, under Harbaugh, Jackson finished as a QB1 four times in his eight year career and was named league MVP twice.

New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart left the game against the Chicago Bears with a suspected concussion.
Jaxson Dart exited the game at the start of the fourth quarter to be evaluated for a concussion after a hit. Veteran Russel Wilson finished the game for the Giants and was unable to secure the victory.
Before Dart left the game, he was putting together a solid outing. He finished with 19 completions on 29 attempts, totalling 242 yards, but where Dart did his damage was on the ground, recording 66 yards on six rushes while scoring two touchdowns. Dart became the first quarterback in NFL history to record at least one rushing touchdown in five straight games. The concussion news will be something to monitor moving forward to see if he will be ready for the Giants’ Week 11 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
